In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of welding and steel fabrication for creating functional pieces and sculptures.
You will be introduced to the fundamentals of MIG and oxyacetylene, plasma cutting, and explore steel's plasticity with various shaping and bending tools. You'll also learn to cut, shear, drill, and weld safely with both sheet and bar stock.
Weekly demonstrations and mini-project prompts will encourage the practice of these new skills and help you to transition to a project of your choosing.
