What you'll do
Turn your boring or stained clothing into a work of art in this embroidery class in Seattle! In this class your instructor, Rosalie Gale, will teach you how to do basic cross stitch on your own clothing. Bring a couple of items that you would like to stitch on in class and instantly elevate your piece with beautiful stitching. You can plan your own design using graph paper, or you can choose from some adorable designs available to you at the class. You'll learn how to cross-stitch and wear it too! This is the perfect way to embellish an already adorable piece of clothing - but it is also an excellent way to cover up a small hole or stain on one of your favorites! This DIY idea makes for both a fun and fashionable project and a sustainable practice. Don't worry, this embroidery class welcomes all skill levels, including beginners! Thread, needles, and waste canvas will be provided. If you have materials that you prefer to work with, please feel free to bring them. Please note
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.
- Our current COVID protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us to let us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants. Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will be requiring masks.

Located in Ballard at 1716 NW Market Street. We feature a different artist on the second Saturday of each month during the Ballard Art Walk. Monster is more than just a retail shop. We also have a dedicated classroom space where we host art and craft classes. Join us for our monthly craft social and meet other creative folks.
