You've seen terrazzo trays out and about in the world or on social media. Now you can learn how to create your own colorful terrazzo home decor pieces with Eco Resin in this terrazzo class in Seattle!
Terrazzo is normally made up of a solid color base with all kinds of tiny colorful chips inside. This material and resin craft idea creates beautiful trinket trays, home decor pieces, and coasters.
In this class, you will learn how to make terrazzo chips to use in our terrazzo pieces.
Your base will be an eco-resin that cures very fast, perfect for this one-session workshop! You will use eco-resin composite powder that is water-based gypsum. Once fully cured, the final product is extremely durable and pretty!
You will have a variety of molds and colors to work with - not necessarily just those pictured here. You will create your choice of colorful chips, a set of two coasters, and one larger home decor piece. For your larger item, you will be able to select from a variety of trays and candleholders.
By the end of class, you'll have a matching set of handmade terrazzo coasters and home decor item that will bring some creativity into your home or make a wonderful handmade gift idea! This fun and relaxing craft is perfect for group events or a solo art adventure to learn a new hobby!
