What you'll do
Add some whimsy to your wardrobe or wall art by learning how to embroider magical mushrooms! In this embroidery workshop in Seattle, you will learn how to stitch a playful bunch of fungi with fiber artist Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ. This two-hour, hands-on workshop covers a variety of beginner-friendly embroidery stitches such as the satin stitch, back stitch, reverse chain stitch, long and short satin stitch, and French knot.This useful skill will allow you to upcycle your clothes with colorful embroidery design ideas or create unique gift ideas for friends with a personal touch!Try this craft class for a birthday party idea or get together with a friend or two for a fun outing learning a new skill and exploring your creativity. Please note: We no longer require masks in order to attend our events UNLESS anyone attending the class contacts us to request it. If you purchase a ticket, please be prepared for the possibility you may need to wear a mask during the class. If that doesn't work for you - please don't purchase a ticket at this time. If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.
