Flower power time! Learn how to embroider wildflowers in this embroidery basics workshop in Seattle with fiber artist Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ.
This two-hour, hands-on workshop covers a variety of beginner-friendly embroidery stitches such as the satin stitch, back stitch, stem stitch, reverse chain stitch, leaf stitch, and French knot.
Embroidery is a useful skill, as you can use embroidery techniques to upcycle your clothes create thoughtful personalized gifts and more! Soon you'll be stitching a garden onto your favorite jeans and creating stunning handmade wall art.
Whether you're on the hunt for a new DIY hobby or looking for gift ideas or birthday party activities, this creative class is just what you need to add some color to your day!
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.
Please note:
If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.
Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can contact us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.
Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will be requiring masks be worn.

Your teacher can also travel within 60 miles of Seattle, to a venue of your choice for a private class
