Bring the woodlands to your table with these embroidered napkins. In this embroidery class in Seattle, you will learn beautiful embroidery designs to add a personalized touch to your linens. From flowers to trees and fruits to mushrooms, these forest forage designs are perfect to celebrate spring and summer dining.
Join Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ for a two-hour, hands-on workshop stitching your own unique napkins. We’ll cover the seed stitch, stem stitch, detached chain stitch, French knot, and button hole stitch.
When you join this class, you’ll also receive a full embroidery kit that includes a beechwood embroidery hoop, two white cotton napkins, an embroidery needle, full skeins of DMC embroidery thread, forest forage transfer patterns, and printed instructions.
If you've ever wanted to learn embroidery, this is the perfect opportunity to learn a variety of stunning designs alongside a helpful and friendly teacher. Not to mention, embroidery is a useful skill that will help you create thoughtful handmade gift ideas, cover stains on your favorite clothes, or add adorable hand-crafted wall art to your home.
Please arrive about 15 minutes before class begins.
Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us to let us know they prefer that people wear masks and/or we check vaccination records up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.
Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will be checking vaccination records and requiring masks be worn.
