Embroidery Workshop: Intermediate Pet Toys and Plushies

Show your pet some love and explore your creativity in this hands-on craft class in Austin! In this embroidery 102 workshop, you will learn how to create adorable and personalized toys for your furry friends! This class is perfect if you have some embroidery experience (needle threading, tying off, straight stitch, and backstitch are the only required skills) and want to expand your skills.During the workshop, you will work with a variety of materials, including felt, fabric samples, embroidery floss, stuffing, and anything else you'd like to include (beads, buttons, twine, etc.). You'll learn different techniques to bring your pet toys to life. We'll use scraps left over from other projects to create something both adorable and useful. Score one for upcycling!By the end of the workshop, you'll have all the skills and supplies you need to make a collection of handmade pet toys that will bring happiness to your furry friends. You and your pets can share satisfaction in these special toys: you in making them by hand, and your pets in recreationally destroying them!
