Ice dyeing is a fun and easy way to add some color to your wardrobe and creativity to your afternoon. Explore the magic of ice dyeing with fiber artist Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ in this dyeing workshop in Seattle.
In this class, you will learn how to fold and bind fabric to create patterns and designs as well as the playful nature of ice dye. You’ll love playing with different folding techniques and seeing your designs come to life after the ice melts! You will receive four cotton tea towels to create your own patterns but you are also encouraged to bring additional cotton materials to dye. From tie-dye sweatshirts to your classic oversized tee, the creative possibilities are endless!
If you're looking for summer craft ideas or fun things to do in Seattle, this is the perfect time to try something new! Leave with a tie-dye creation to sport at your next beach day or BBQ!
