Elevate your pasta dinners by learning how to make your own restaurant-quality pasta without a hefty price tag. In this Italian cooking class in Ossining, you will learn how to make pasta from scratch.
You'll have the chance to make two kinds of pasta dough and learn how to roll and cut it into various shapes such as fettuccine, cavatelli, farfalle, pappardelle, orecchiette, and strozzapreti. Learn to make pasta dough with and without eggs and then choose the best shapes for each type of dough.
This workshop will also teach you how to pair sauces with pasta shapes, as well as the origin stories of those shapes. Please note that this workshop does not include a meal; you'll take your fresh pasta home. We will instruct you on how to cook it and store it for future use.
This beginner's cooking class is a fun way to learn a new recipe and spend quality time with family, friends, or a date! Not only will you be left with a delicious homemade, but pasta making can be a relaxing activity that will leave you feeling refreshed and inspired.
