Guided by a professional pottery artist, you will learn techniques for hand building pottery or clay wheel in order to make your own bowl. This class is great for beginners as well as those who have some pottery experience and need a refresher. Your teacher will offer an introduction to the process of making pottery and a step-by-step demonstration before you jump in and get your hands dirty with the clay.
At the end of this pottery making session, you'll get to walk out with your raw creation. You might find that you have also discovered your new favorite hobby!

What to bring
  • Casual clothing is the best for studio activity. Clay comes out of fabric without much effort, but we always suggest to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
  • Avoid wearing shoes and sandals with large hills.
  • Clip your fingernails for the best experience.

I am an artist, art educator, and founder of FEELartistic Studio. I left the IT industry in 2000 to become a professional art instructor. I have ten plus years of art teaching experience at community centers, Museums, and Schools. I enjoy meeting people and sharing the creative process of art. I served as a registered art provider to special needs at Disability Determination Services of the Department of Social and Health Services of the State of Washington. Also, affiliated with a local therapist and psychiatrist where I develop symptom-based art activity programs for special needs children.
