Jennifer will teach the class step-by-step on how to complete your own collection of holiday notecards. You will learn color, design, drawing, and composition techniques. All levels of experience are welcome! Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, all are welcome to join this class!
From selecting colors to designing festive patterns and adding personalized touches, you'll have guidance from start to finish. You will receive instruction on blending colors, creating textures, and adding intricate details to make your notecards truly unique.
Explore different watercolor techniques such as wet-on-wet, dry brushing, and layering to bring your holiday creations to life. Jennifer will provide tips and tricks for achieving professional-looking results, helping you gain confidence in your artistic abilities.

When I was a teenager growing up at the beach surrounded by Victorian homes, I started drawing pen and ink watercolors. Then I knocked on the door of the house I’d just painted and asked “would you like to buy a house portrait?“ That began the thrill of making money with something I loved doing.
After graduating from Massachusetts College of Art l moved to Los Angeles. The lush landscapes and eclectic architecture inspired me to capture it. I had an article in the Downtown News. This is how I made a name for myself, painting the landmarks. I painted six historic theaters on Broadway LA with an awarded grant.
It was so exhilarating to paint on location that I started teaching to share my love of en plein air painting. Since then I’ve been teaching people of all ages art. The After School Art program that I produced at Mar Vista Elementary, was so popular that I raised money through Kickstarter to get a Studio.
Hundreds of students have been taught by me the foundations of Fine Art, drawing, design, color, composition, and painting.
I taught regularly at SOHO House Malibu & West Hollywood. Currently I’m at Virginia Robinson‘s Gardens, Beverly Hills teaching Botanical watercolors. I’m a traveling Art Teacher available for corporate events, team building, family, gatherings, painting parties and private classes.
