Emma-Elizabeth Lila started Lila Logan Designs as a business name when she decided to begin her own jewelry and accessory design business. She initially registered the business name in California, using her middle name Lila and her grandfather's name Logan.
From the time she first registered the business name in California while still attending metalsmithing classes at a junior college, Emma has progressed to attending and graduating from The Gemological Institute Of America, also known as GIA, where she completed the Graduate Jeweler and Applied Jewelry Arts program.
After graduating from school, she embarked on world travels and lived in different countries for months at a time. She fell in love and married her best friend, Dustin, who happens to be the designer and developer behind the Lila Logan Jewelry Design Studio website.
Both of them have a passion for travel but have finally found a home in West Seattle, where they have fulfilled their lifelong dream of opening a Jewelry and Gift store. The store offers a wide variety of Handmade Gifts, Jewelry, Jewelry Repair, Beading, Metalsmithing Workshops, and a range of permanent bracelets.
When you visit Lila Logan Jewelry Design Studio, you will always have the opportunity to talk to Emma because she handles all aspects of the Jewelry services and workshops. Emma loves teaching, and when she demonstrates a new technique or answers a question, her enthusiasm shines through in her big smile and passionate words. She genuinely loves what she does, and her accommodating teaching style is influenced by her own background as someone diagnosed with dyslexia and an auditory processing deficit as a child. These challenges never dampened her love for art or her creative way of thinking, which is reflected in her unique jewelry designs.
There is a story behind nearly everything you can find at Lila Logan Jewelry Design Studio, whether it's made from recycled materials or a found object from Emma's travels. Everything is crafted in-house using the most eco-friendly materials available. If you're searching for a one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly piece of jewelry or a special gift, you'll find it at Lila Logan Jewelry Design Studio. Just ask, and Emma will be happy to share an inspiring story about how something was created.
