Whether you cook every day or just occasionally, great knife skills are a time (and finger) saver in the kitchen.
In this part demonstration, mostly hands-on workshop, you learn essential knife skills to enhance your cooking experience, starting with choosing the right tools, setting up your prep station, and properly holding your knife.
You'll practice at least 10 French cuts and techniques, including how to dice an onion into perfectly even cubes in under 60 seconds!

We will define these terms and discuss the best applications for fancy cuts, and instruction will be tailored to your individual level. With your newly honed advanced techniques, you will impress your dining companions and elevate both presentation and texture while becoming more efficient.
By the end of the class, you'll leave with new knowledge, techniques, and recipes to continue your culinary journey at home.

Knowledge required
Ideal for beginners. No special tools, techniques, or ingredients are required. Youth ages 12-16 must be with an adult.

What to bring
  • Please bring a few small containers to take your prepared vegetables home. We try to limit our consumption of single-use plastics.
  • We serve only water and tea. You may bring your own beverages if you choose.

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a date idea, team building activity or bachelorette party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.
