Bring your imagination and a few items from your mending pile (no socks please, that's a different class), and let's turn those ripped or stained items into mended works of art!
Learning how to mend your own clothes is a great sustainable craft idea and practice that will allow you to hold onto beloved pieces and create less waste. And visible mending will allow you to add some personality and character to your wardrobe too!
If you've always wanted to learn how to mend your own clothes but aren't sure where to start, this class is a great place to learn. You can even bring in your own clothing in need of mending for personalized instruction from an expert! Take home practical skills and ready to wear clothes.
Please note
Our current COVID protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us to let us know if you prefer that people wear masks and/or we check vaccination records up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants. You will receive an email before the class to let you know If we will be checking vaccination records and requiring masks to be worn.

Opened in September of 2008, Monster has proudly shared the unique works of hundreds of Pacific Northwest artists, makers and crafters within Seattle, Washington.
Monster is a unique shop dedicated to supporting independent artists. Located in Ballard at 1716 NW Market Street. We feature a different artist on the second Saturday of each month during the Ballard Art Walk.
