What you'll do
Explore the creative world of mosaics in this craft class in Orange! In this mosaic workshop, you will be adorning the rim of a terra cotta pot with ceramics, broken china, tokens, beads, baubles, and other bits and pieces.This mosaic class is perfect for beginners, where you'll learn all the basic techniques to complete a stunning piece and even kickstart a new hobby. Learn about design, gluing, grouting, working with ceramics, broken china, and so much more. Your instructor will demo how to grout in class. You will take grout home to finish your project once the glue has set for 24-48 hours, or you are welcome to come back to the Dragonfly to grout your piece on a day to be determined.We have an ever-changing selection of tiles and china to choose from, so yours will look different. If you have broken pieces of china that are special to you, or if there's a particular color scheme you're going for and you'd like to incorporate them into this piece, please bring them with you-- that's what makes it personal and exciting.This is a relaxing and fun activity that makes for a great DIY experience if you're looking to spend time with friends or treat a loved one to a craft day! Take home a beautiful new home for a beloved plant and basic mosaic making skills.
