What you'll do
Come spend the day with us, while learning all the different techniques that go into creating your own beautiful, one-of-a-kind mosaic stepping stone. In this mosaic workshop in Orange, you will create a 12" concrete paver, and we anticipate you'll leave with a finished project!In this workshop, you will be adorning a stepping stone with ceramics, broken china, tokens, bead, baubles and other bits & pieces. Learn about design, gluing, grouting, working with ceramics, broken china and so much more. I will demo how to grout in class. You will take grout home to finish your project once the glue has set for 24 - 48 hours, or you are welcome to come back to the Dragonfly to grout your piece on a day to be determined.Allow 2- 4 hours, depending on size of your piece:We have an ever-changing selection of tiles and china to choose from, so yours will look different. If you have broken pieces of china that are special to you, or if there's a particular color scheme you're going for and you'd like to incorporate them into this piece, please bring them with you - that's what makes it personal & exciting.The photos are SAMPLES! Yours will look different because it will be your OWN designPlease feel free to bring your own snacks, & beverages.
