What you'll do

Looking for a creative way to unwind? Join fiber artist and author Melissa Galbraith for a needle and thread class in Seattle, where you’ll learn how to create beautiful lace flowers. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design your own floral pattern, master the technique of couching thread, and use the buttonhole stitch to bring your lace to life. You can even incorporate beads for a personalized touch!

This beginner-friendly class is perfect for anyone looking to explore a new craft in a relaxed, welcoming space. All materials are provided, so all you need to do is show up and enjoy the process! Whether you’re a total beginner or a fiber arts enthusiast, you’ll leave with a beautiful handmade piece and a new creative skill to cherish.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.

If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.

Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can contact us to let us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants. Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know if we will be requiring masks be worn.
