In this soap making class, you will learn how to make melt and pour soap, which is a simple process that is perfect for beginners. You'll be able to completely customize your soap to your needs and preferences! Choose your favorite colors, essential oils, and dried botanicals to incorporate into your soap design! This is an opportunity to explore, get creative, and leave with handmade soap that is uniquely yours! What you'll learn
- How to make a melt and pour soap base, out of either virgin olive oil or coconut oil depending on which type is available.
- How to prepare your soap base and set your temperature to heat up your soap
- Choosing from 6-8 natural vegetable colors which also can be mixed to create beautiful marble or layers
- Choose between 10-12 types of essential oils and fragrance oils to create a fragrance blend
- Choose from 8-10 different herbs, flowers, and tea to add additional dermatological properties
- How to use soap molds
