Do you love to paint but are curious to explore a new medium? Join this ceramics class in Austin, where you can learn how to sculpt a paint palette! These simple pieces can be used for a variety of painting mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, oil, or pottery glazes. If you prefer ceramics over painting, you can use your handmade paint palette as a thoughtful gift idea for a creative friend!
These mini workshops are opportunities to try out something new in a casual setting in a quick, easy, and simplified way. Your instructor will take you through each step of the process in a friendly and informative way! You will start with leather hard slabs of clay and then carve, smooth, and decorate your way to a totally original creation.
The best part of this workshop is that you can get as creative as you want! You will be able to create custom palette shapes and decorate your pieces to make them unique. You'll leave with a few hand building pottery skills and a lovely handmade and functional item to treasure!

Beginner friendly. No previous ceramics experience needed!
