What you'll do
Turn your art into repeatable designs or learn how to make your own wall art in a screenprinting class in Austin! In this workshop, you'll learn all the basics of screenprinting to kickstart a new hobby or simply enjoy a creative day out! Your instructor will start with a brief history of the craft and then move on to practicalities. You will discuss stencil options and the characteristics of your process that will affect your final print. Everyone will create their own paper stencils and then the best part: printing! You’ll walk away with your stencil and your prints, great for framing or turning into greeting cards. And you’ll have the knowledge to come back any time to do more screenprinting here, using CRAFT’s screens, squeegees, and inks.What you'll learn

- Choose your ink color.
- Choose the papers you want to print on, including pages from vintage encyclopedias, print on paper (great for framing and greeting cards!).
- Learn in an intimate setting with one on one support as needed.
