I am a woman entrepreneur on quest to create beautiful hammered artwork and to spread the love of blacksmithing to other people.
I began blacksmithing over fifteen years ago while earning a degree in fine art. When I had the opportunity to learn blacksmithing I latched onto it. I was so mesmerized by the color and the glow and the power of moving metal. I thought, this is what I'm going to do, for the semester... Many years later and I now have a shop in Richmond, California, with employees, some big pieces of equipment and big dreams.
And while my classes are all project based and meant to be approachable, I want to help others achieve their big dreams. Whether it's making tools, decorating your home with custom metal or creating cosplay costumes. I'm small enough that the students can help guide what I offer in the future.
