Welding Class for Team Building

Schedule your next company activity at a welding workshop in Seattle!

3.5 hours Class size 4 to 30 guests     $150
If you're looking for unique team-building activities that will get your company excited to join in, you've come to the right place. This welding class in Seattle provides an opportunity for your team to connect and develop new skills for both the office and the workshop.
The class will start with a brief introduction to welding and safety. Then we will form teams to design and build "Bridges" that will be tested under a dynamic load until they fail.
In this exercise, you are asked to learn an entirely new skill and implement it under unreasonable time constraints. You can then compare your score against the scores achieved by other teams operating under the same constraints. This requires teams to identify and allocate newly developed skills on the fly, in a dynamic non-hierarchical context.
Successful teams identify and anticipate key problems and manage time and resources on the fly. Communication plays an absolutely central role in this exercise. Successful teams will both manage themselves and direct team-mates. This is a productively stressful exercise. You will face, and overcome, slightly unnerving challenges in a totally new environment as a team.
While teammates may step out of their comfort zone in this project, it will also bring them closer together, fostering collaboration and connection. By the end of this class, your team will feel accomplished in pushing themselves to learn something new and it will be a team-building exercise they will never forget!
