In this 1.5-hour lesson, you’ll receive personalized, one-on-one instruction and access to all the tools and clay you need. This tactile experience is a wonderful way to reconnect and center yourself. Sit down, relax, and feel the cool, smooth clay spinning beneath your hands as you transform it into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
With your choice of over 30 vibrant cone 6 glaze colors, you’ll create up to three pieces that we’ll trim, sign, and glaze for you, allowing you to focus on perfecting your throwing technique. Want to add a personal touch to your creations? Sign up for our glazing class, where you’ll learn to paint and fire your bisque pottery, exploring color mixing to craft unique designs.
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore a new hobby, celebrate a special occasion, or simply enjoy a fun day out in San Rafael!
Please note
  • Due to the nature and fragility of pottery and high-temperature firings, there is always a risk of cracking and breakage. Your pots may not come out of the kiln exactly as expected, but there’s beauty in the surprise of each creation!
  • Pots will be available for pickup 2-4 weeks after the lesson. Shipping is available for an additional cost.
