What you'll do
If you've ever wanted to try wheel throwing, this ceramics class in Seattle is the perfect place to start. You'll learn how to make a mug and wheel throwing basics!In this pottery class, you will learn the techniques to center, open and raise a cylinder on the wheel before attaching a handle to create your mug. You will have the opportunity to try throwing several times and will choose a single piece to keep. Once you choose your piece to keep, your instructor will assist you to attach a pre-prepared handle and choose your glaze before you clean up as a group. Whether you want to try a new hobby or you're just looking for fun things to do to change up your routine, this exciting class will have you engaged and relaxed! It's a great opportunity to learn something new and explore your creativity. You can even try a wheel throwing workshop for a fun date idea or team building workshop! When completed the studio will trim, dry, glaze and fire your piece for you. When your creation is ready, your instructor will notify you to come back for pick-up, or they can ship your piece for an additional fee. Please allow up to four weeks for your piece to be ready.

In addition to classes and workshops, our studio offers membership access for those who want to continue their creative journey and expand their self-exploration.
