If you love wood-fired pizza, head to Teaching Table's back patio in Ossining, NY for a pizza making class you'll love! In this cooking class, you will learn the art of making slow-fermented dough and get hands-on experience with stretching, topping, and then launching it into our wood-fired brick oven.
You will also learn how to make a delicious and versatile pizza sauce in under 15 minutes and techniques for creating flavorful and texturally satisfying pizzas. We will cover classic Italian topping combinations as well as innovative seasonal creations.
You will get to taste and work with my celebrated naturally fermented spelt pizza dough and learn how to modify it for speed without the use of a sourdough starter. Plus, you'll be able to take home the dough and receive tips on adjustments for baking in a home oven.
