Bay Area Bun began in 2023 by making the parents’ favorites, and since they were so well received, more and more steamed buns evolved, some savory and some mildly sweet, some with eyes and legs and some without!
Influenced by Japanese and Taiwanese designs and appetites, Bay Area Bun aims to share the joy and knowledge of making steamed buns with and for loved ones and seeing everyone’s personal touches to their own creations.
