If you love reading and creative activities, this is the perfect craft workshop for you! In this multi-media art class, you will decorate bookmarks! You will make bookmarks using a collection of art materials to give each one a unique look. They can be used as gifts, prizes, or traded with other students from different classrooms.This is an easy-to-follow lesson, making it fun for all to participate! You are welcome to take your own creative direction and use any materials you want. There is no wrong way to do this project!You will use cut paper that measures approximately 2 x 6-inch strips. As time goes on, begin experimenting with different art materials, styles, and bookmark shapes. Use a hole puncher if you plan on adding a ribbon.Free to choose any of the art styles: Pop art, Op Art, Fauvism, Dadaism, Cubism, Arts and Crafts Movement, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Abstract Art.You will have access to the following materials and techniques: drawing, crayons, colored pencils, collage, acrylic, ink, marker, mixed media, painting, paper, and watercolors.
