My partner and I took our first pottery throwing class as a gift for my birthday. Our teacher Evan was great! Not only was he a solid teacher but he was a fun human to be around and we really enjoyed our time there. We were the only two people in the class but there were other more experienced people there working as well and the whole vibe of the shop (SMAART gallery & studios in the Mission) was really fun and relaxed. We’re both left handed and Evan was able to find two of the discs that spun the opposite direction for us. Moonshot Studio is located in downtown Noe Valley so parking may be a little tricky but we just parked a little further away and walked in. Our instructor (and owner) was Teresa and she was so sweet, enthusiastic, and informative.
