Hi my name is Christine Cervantes. I was born and raised in California. I am a mother to one daughter. I am a person who is passionate about many aspects in life. I have always been passionate about helping my community. I started as an activities director for 12 years at a nursing facility serving older adults. As an AD, I coordinated many therapeutic activities such as art and cooking classes. I later decided to transition to another job as a training counselor for adults with development disabilities for about 10+ years. Currently, I am a behavioral interventionist working with special education students at Los Angeles Unified School District. Furthermore, I am an entrepreneur and run a small baking business from home. Today, my journey has shifted me to create a therapeutic space where I can help many people overcome mental illness. I am passionate to start this journey of becoming an instructor to bring therapeutic activities in my community.
