Over two and a half hours, you will learn the techniques of Turkish mosaic lamp making, a 500-year-old ancient craft.Under the guidance of our friendly instructors, you will learn how to create your geometric pattern using a template and colored beads and tiles. Once you're happy with your patten, you'll get to work laying the tiles (tesserae) on your chosen lamp base. The end result will be a beautiful handmade lamp in your favorite colors.Art Masterclass is a premier, boutique art studio, offering a mix of traditional craft workshops in Wilmington. All of our workshops and events are complemented by a sumptuous Turkish tea service and Turkish Delight that you can devour as you create!Our workshops are customizable to meet the interests and needs of your group.
