Franck discovered Scotch whisky when he was 21 years old and fell in love with this spirit. He has since built a collection of almost 500 bottles (all opened, since he strongly believes that spirits are made to be enjoyed, not watched), gained many credentials as a spirit educator and consultant, and founded his company Whisky Gourmet in 2017. His company’s motto is encapsulated in three words: “we create happiness!”He lived on four continents, has visited more than 200 distilleries, and knows many of the key actors and producers. Franck is a certified WSET instructor (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) in spirit, a whisky ambassador tutor (Scotland), an Armagnac educator, and he holds a distiller degree from IBD (London, UK). He teaches at all levels, from beginners to professionals, using his highly successful pedagogical approach while exhibiting his passion.
