Take your dinners to the next level and impress your friends with delicious sausage recipes by learning to make your own in this sausage making class in San Francisco! Join Richard for this comprehensive and fully hands-on class making fresh sausage from scratch.
You will work with electric grinders, vertical sausage stuffers and natural hog casings to create our favorite Italian fennel sausage. You will be able to use this sausage recipe for pizza toppings, cased sausages and patties. The techniques you learn in class can be used to create sausage using any protein of your choosing. You will even get to try our favorite breakfast sausage recipe.
In this class, your instructor will cover the science of sausage making and will take you through the fundamental guidelines to follow. You'll learn the options on what equipment you need to make sausages, what you will want to buy and what you absolutely don't need, but will want to buy anyway. Because who wouldn't want a 316L stainless steel tabletop grinder capable of grinding eight pounds or raw meat per minute?
Take your finished sausages home with you to enjoy in your favorite home-cooked meals. If you're looking to learn a new cooking skill or want to try out a fun new recipe for your next date night idea or even birthday party, this hands-on class makes for a unique learning experience!
All materials supplied. This class is limited to only two students and is fully hands-on. Please note, all classes are for adults (18+) only.
Knowledge required
Beginners welcome! We will take you through the process one step at a time to ensure you will be successful.
 
What you'll get
Each student will take home at least two pounds of finished sausage links as well as have a tasting of two different types of sausage. All materials, recipes and guidelines are provided.
 
What to bring
A notebook and pen would be helpful, but we provide everything else you will need.
