Guided by Chef Daniel you’ll master the art of making vegan mozzarella, ricotta, and mascarpone from cashews, as well as whip up flavorful vegan pesto and creamy béchamel.
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll prepare fresh New York-style pizza dough and work with long-fermented Neapolitan dough, prepped in advance for the perfect crust. Chef Daniel will share expert tips on working with cashews and creating mouthwatering plant-based alternatives.
You’ll enjoy tasting your creations throughout the workshop alongside your fellow San Francisco foodies. We will provide toppings like pickled asparagus, olive tapenade and others, Plus, there are always leftovers to take home! This fun, interactive cooking class is a great way to elevate your culinary skills while exploring the world of vegan cuisine.

Originally from Argentina, with its own special mix of cultures, Chef Daniel Morduchowicz has lived in California for the past 39 years where he has been exposed to its rich diversity of cuisines. This wide range of experiences influences and informs his food on a daily basis, enabling him to borrow ingredients and techniques from one another. He is passionate about cooking and sharing his knowledge. He aims to teach fundamentals to his students so they need not rely on recipes.
