Ready to learn a new hobby? Join this Bay Area pottery course where you will learn how to throw pottery on the wheel over four sessions.
There's no experience necessary for this beginner's pottery course, and you'll have expert guidance from an instructor throughout each lesson. This hands-on series will set you up for success in your pottery journey by teaching you all of the wheel-throwing basics.
Your comprehensive course covers each step in the pottery-making process, from throwing clay to glazing your pieces, so you can leave feeling confident. With hands-on instruction, all the tools, and supplies, you will learn how to center the clay, raise the walls, and shape the clay into a cylinder or bowl.
This course is a 4-week series class completed on the same day/time each week.
  • Week 1 - throwing bowls and cylinders
  • Week 2 - trimming from week 1 and throwing mugs
  • Week 3 - adding handles to mugs and throwing plates
  • Week 4 - glazing.
At this time, we can only accommodate four people in a class at a time.
