What you'll do
Enjoy a delicious dumpling dinner with an interactive twist in this dumpling-making class in NYC! In this fun, hands-on class, we will cover the history of dumplings, and discuss folding styles, assorted fillings, and dipping sauces. Break out those knife skills and choose to make either a chicken and mushroom filling or a veggie filling. Practice filling, sealing, and crimping your own dumplings. Your chef instructor will teach you to make a variety of folds such as wonton, mandu, square, hat, and empanadas. You will be able to boil and/or pan-sear your dumplings (potsticker style) before making a simple dipping sauce and sitting down to a delicious plate of savory goodness.This casual and fun cooking class is a great way to get together wih friends, learn new recipes, and challenge yourself to step out of your cooking comfort zone! You'll enjoy a fun activity and a delicious meal!
