Dining out has become really expensive and is a hassle! When you factor in the transportation and difficulty of booking a babysitter, it’s just not worth it. So why not transform your dining room (or coffee table) into a fine-dining restaurant that will make your date swoon and create date night at home?
Our summer farm-to-table date night cooking class is an educational and fun evening focused on summer-inspired dishes, like gazpacho, clams pasta, and elote. We'll explore seasonal summer flavors and farmers' market favorites, indulge your sweet tooth with a delightful fruity dessert, and cool down with a fizzy cocktail. This promises to be an evening filled with delicious food, new skills, and great company!
Chef Laura from Teaching Table will guide you and yours in preparing a delectable multi-course plated menu using seasonal ingredients. You’ll learn some advanced culinary skills, and we'll let you in on some restaurant secrets. We’ll also discuss how and where to source quality ingredients, what to splurge on, and what to get on the cheap.
Unwind, connect, and savor the joys of cooking and eating together in the comfort of your own home.

The table I grew up around inspired curiosity, challenge, and an appreciation for food. At Teaching Table, we believe in sourcing ingredients locally to sustain our earth and community. Our classes empower you to make health-supportive decisions while honoring that food should taste delicious.
We believe in creating positive participant experiences. So, when you gather around the Teaching Table, you will learn techniques to turn seasonal, locally sourced ingredients into tasty and nourishing meals everyone will enjoy. You will ask questions and challenge yourself and walk away with recipes and tools for your culinary tool belt.
Teaching Table classes are intentionally small, intimate learning experiences so that you get hands-on practice and personalized attention. Menus and instruction are tailored to participants’ dietary needs and preferences, cooking skills, and goals.
