Are you ready to make some meaningful memories with your friends, family, or coworkers? This highly interactive team-building experience kicks off with improv-style bartending and culminates in a mini-mixology competition that includes unique door prizes for the winning team. After a brief introduction to the craft, each guest gets to create three one-of-a-kind cocktails (or mocktails!) at a casual-but-steady pace, learning the basics of bartending as they go.
Throughout the workshop, you'll learn how to build classic cocktails such as the Martini, Old Fashioned, Negroni, and Margarita. During the first two hours, you'll get the chance to experiment with an array of freshly squeezed juices, specialty syrups, and gourmet garnishes; your instructor will float around to answer questions and offer assistance as necessary, sharing stories along the way (as the moment arises). During the last hour, everyone gets to participate in a themed mixology competition that encourages general community, connection, and teamwork.
Your seasoned mixology instructor can travel to a venue of your choosing — from office spaces to private residences — within 75 miles of Manhattan, making it easy and convenient to host your next bartending event! From corporate functions to couples night, hosting a mixology party is the perfect way to kickstart your bartending journey.
Mixology Menu

Once the event date is set, your instructor will provide a detailed shopping list to make your preparations as seamless as possible.

Simple drinks, Complex tastes
As a lifelong storyteller with over a decade of bespoke bartending under his belt, TJ Fink (ie, @the.artisanal.alchemist) is an extroverted expert at building experiential events from the ground up. He "mixologizes" all over New York City, venn-diagramming the multiverse of gourmet food with organically tasty tonics.
On the artisanal side of things, TJ is intensely passionate about crafting one-of-a-kind cocktails with his own bare hands. From an alchemical angle, he appreciates the increasingly complex chemistry behind these creative concoctions. (Not to mention the twisted histories behind them.) Long-story-long: he’s always learning something new behind the mahogany, and learning new things is his very favorite... well, thing.
When TJ’s not slinging drinks in the five boroughs, he can be found sipping Negronis in his living room and crafting Dr. Seussian poetry inside a tattered moleskin. Every tincture has a tale to tell, after all.
