Custom Rug Tufting Workshop

Learn a new hobby, enjoy a creative experience, and create a custom rug in this hands-on tufting workshop in NYC! In this rug making workshop, you will get to design and craft a rug from start to finish. Tufting can look intimidating but this workshop will prove to you that it's easier than it looks. The possibilities are almost endless for what you can tuft, so come with a design in mind and watch it quickly come to life! This is a tufting class for beginners, where your supportive instructor will guide you through the entire process. Once you arrive, your station will be all ready for you to begin tufting. After a twenty-minute lesson with your instructor, you will be free to tuft to your heart's content. Don't worry, your teacher will be available for all questions and guidance so you can complete your rug with confidence. There is also a small kitchen with free snacks and drinks and a lounge area to hang out if you want a break. After you finish tufting your piece, the Rugged Looks team will take care of all of the processing work (glue, trim, back, shave, shape), and the carpet will be ready for pickup or shipping in 1-2 weeks.Whether you're looking for things to do this weekend in NYC or a private event for a birthday party, corporate event, or fun group experience, you can add some creativity and style to your day with a tufting class.
