Drawing Party

If you're looking for ways to get creative after work or to meet new people in your area, join this fun and artistic activity in NYC! This event is focused on building community through creativity. This workshop provides various drawing and coloring materials, but you’re also welcome to bring your own sketchbook and favorite drawing instruments! Your class will start with some light stretches to focus and ground your bodies. Let go of any of your daytime or outside stresses and focus on the community, creativity, and positivity in this studio. Next, there will be prompts and drawing games to foster collaboration and connection with the rest of the group. Activities may include:

• Draw blind drawings of each other
• Draw with your eyes closed
• Shared drawings
• Fun prompts

This is a creative experience that will allow you to meet new people, laugh, socialize, and have fun! Stretch your creative brain, get out of your comfort zone in a casual and friendly environment. You don't need to have any artistic skills to participate, as this is a judgment-free zone!Whether you want to get your creative juices flowing to start a new sketchbook or draw in a cozy space with company, this event will treat you to the best of both worlds. Rather than your typical weekday activities, skip the bar or at-home movie night, and try something new in NYC!Please noteTickets are on a sliding scale. Please choose the appropriate tier for you:

• Early bird/community: This ticket price is the minimum to cover the base costs of running this event. If you are able, please support your fellow community members by leaving these tickets available to those who need it.
• Standard: This ticket price makes this event sustainable as a super small business in NYC! We are able to support the staff and organizers of this event and cover costs.
• Supporter: This ticket price makes this event sustainable, and supports Drawing Room's mission of providing a space for creative community building in NYC (as a super small business). We are able to support the staff and organizers of this event, cover costs, and reinvest funds into future offerings for the community
