Over two engaging sessions, you’ll be guided step-by-step by an expert instructor as you create authentic dishes and discover the rich culinary traditions of Ethiopia.
In this course you’ll dive into spice blending, crafting your own Berbere from scratch, and learning to use spices from around the globe in Ethiopian vegetarian recipes. You’ll also prepare a triple aromatic purée that serves as the flavorful base for your dishes and explore the art of making Injera, the traditional Ethiopian fermented flatbread. Practice steaming it to perfection and pair it with the dishes you’ve created for a delicious, healthy feast.

This is a 2-part class. Available classes are:
Thursday, January 30th for 1 hour AND Saturday, February 1st for 2 hours.
OR
Wednesday, February 26th, for 1 hour AND on Friday, February 28th, for 2 hours.

What to bring
Your entire household can join. This class meets via Zoom.
This class requires minimal prep. A detailed list of ingredients, materials, and prep instructions will be provided one week before the class. No special tools, equipment, or hard-to-find ingredients are needed.
Session repeats

After the first session, the next session is: 2-part class. We meet on Thursday, January 30th for 1 hour and Saturday, February 1st for 2 hours..

Suitable for

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.
