Hello! Here at Switchboard Games, we agree with old man Plato when he said, "You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation". Back in the day, our founder (Ryan) developed a deep appreciation for play when he grew up as an introvert in a tiny town. Without much to do nearby, he enjoyed inventing games for his loved ones to play. With that passion in mind, he went on to manage movie theaters & amusement parks in multiple cities. Throughout these experiences, he realized that events are traditionally focused on fun activities OR allowing people to be social with new people. But very rarely were they both. Lightbulb moment! What if you could craft an experience that allows everyone (especially introverts) to easily come out of their shells & comfortably connect with others through fun. If done well, participants wouldn't even realize how authentic & social they were being! At that moment, "Social Entertainment" was created. Since 2016, we've enjoyed making over 40 types of engaging entertainment that have been hosted for thousands of organizations around the world. We’ve loved every experience and are honored to have earned over 5, 000 five star reviews from these amazing groups (with a 4.9 overall average). As we know it's impossible to predict every event detail, we’ve created an event format that's simple and flexible. This means you (our newest work pal) can fully customize in advance or simply book a set-it-and-forget-it event. The fun we lead is simple as well! This allows your team to quickly get into the action and only need a pen and paper to join in. To guarantee every event is wonderful, we've put together a spectacular team of hosts from around the globe. What sets them apart is their ability to read the room and pivot in real time to create a unique experience that brings everyone out of their shells to comfortably connect.
