Are you searching for some delicious things to do in New York City? If you're fed up with those expensive bars and restaurants but still want to spend time with your friends doing foodie activities, then join our talented, local chefs as you learn how to make cocktails and tasty appetizers.
With a cocktail shaker in one hand and a spatula in the other, you will be crafting a wonderful spread of refreshing drinks and mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres. You can choose whether you want to join us at our kitchen in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan for this fun culinary class or if you want our chefs to come to your house! Both are engaging, hands-on, and full of delicious treats but have different prices, durations, group sizes, and provided materials.
This cooking and cocktails masterclass is best when shared with good friends. Whether it's a bachelorette party or team building event, no one can say no to good food and even better DIY cocktails!

Home Cooking New York was founded in May 2002 by founder Jennifer Clair. After years of writing cookbooks, recipes, and food editorials, the opportunity to come together with eager culinary students in a kitchen classroom seemed like the next logical step. Back then, Jennifer was the sole chef-instructor, teaching nightly private cooking classes in students’ home kitchens all over New York City. Over the last 17 years, the company has grown to include five outstanding chef-instructors!
We have our own cooking school in Manhatten, SoHo where we love to share our passion for good food with fellow home cooks! Or, our amazing chefs can come to your home to help you cook up a wonderful feast. You can also find our incredible classes in a virtual experience.
