Hi, I'm Shams Zerin Suriaya Ferdousi. I was born and raised in a small suburban town called Narayanganj in Bangladesh. My parents originally moved from Kolkata (West Bengal, India) to Bangladesh due to my father’s service. My grandmother who was the wife of Jaminder Raja of Murshidabad had a great fascination of creative cooking. Thus, I inherited a fascination for cooking. When I moved to the US, specifically Houston, I felt that the taste of home including dessert and other foods was really missing. I later on achieved a personal chef certificate from Canada in order to do more in fusion cooking. I also operated an online food store in doordash and shef last 3 years there. Thus, I was looking for such a platform in Houston where I can share and teach my experience and taste of fusion to others.
