Audrey is a self-taught artist whose creative journey began in 2016 as part of her path to healing through mental health challenges. At her lowest point, she discovered bullet journaling, which led her to calligraphy and ultimately to watercolor painting. These artistic outlets helped her reconnect with herself, and she now embodies the healing power of art. Audrey's mission is to share that transformative experience with others.
Holding a Master’s degree in Education from The George Washington University, Audrey combines her teaching expertise with her artistic skills. She guides students in mastering watercolor fundamentals while encouraging them to release perfectionism and embrace the calming effects of the medium.
Her work primarily features illustrations and patterns inspired by florals, food, abstracts, and animals, using watercolors, gouache, and occasionally acrylic gouache and colored pencils. Audrey’s online store offers a variety of items, including washi tape, art prints, greeting cards, stickers, and other print-on-demand products such as tote bags, tea towels, and calendars.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Audrey now resides in the greater Chicagoland area with her husband and their two fur babies: Rocket, a white and grey long-haired cat; and Charcoal, a Pomeranian-Poodle mix.
