Rohini Moradi knows the secret to a great cocktail goes beyond mixing ingredients. A self-confessed cocktail queen, Rohini is driven by the belief that food and drink recipes – including cocktails – should enhance our well-being.
After noticing that little thought was given to the ingredients in alcoholic drinks, Rohini decided to create cocktails with a more thoughtful spin. Inspired by her interest in herbal medicine and nutrition, her recipes are packed with healthy alternatives like stevia, a natural sugar replacement made from plants. Her goal? To help people enjoy delicious drinks that are light and uplifting, without sacrificing on flavour.
Passionate about sharing fresh ideas with professional bartenders and amateurs alike, Rohini founded The Cocktail Camp in 2015 and has been guiding people toward a love of healthy cocktails ever since.
The first thing I ever made…
My friends and I still laugh about this, but the first cocktail ever made was at a fancy cocktail party. I mixed all the weirdest flavours - pickle juice, ketchup, onions, honey. It was coined the worst cocktail ever, for good reason.
I’m on a mission to…
Make mixology accessible by breaking it down to architecture and flavour. Anyone can make a great cocktail with some basic guidance. Connecting with flavours and learning about medicinal properties has been so fun for me.
Christmas smells like…

This year I’m grateful for...

Teaching others has taught me...
That integration is important. We live in such a fast-paced world and I like to remind people that sometimes we have to take it slow for it to fully soak in.
