What you'll do
If you're looking for rainy day crafts or a fun hands-on activity to brighten your day, try the cozy craft of punch needling! In this online workshop, you'll learn how to make punch needle coasters. This virtual experience makes for great fall craft ideas or a fun creative outlet!Punch needle art is a form of embroidery, similar to rug making. Using your needle punch tool, embroidery ring, monks cloths, yarn, and a few other materials, watch your punch needle coaster come to life with the step-by-step instruction from your instructor. The class will start with an introduction to the process of punch needle, including how to use your tool and the different techniques. Then, you can come up with your own punch needle design, or follow along with the teacher's design! Once complete, the teacher will show you how to remove your design from the embroidery hoop and secure it onto a cork sheet to then become a coaster!You will have enough materials to create two coasters, so you can have an adorable matching set or gift one to a friend. If you're looking for fun things to do at home, virtual team building activities, or experience gift ideas, try this adorable craft!
