JJ Paperie & Co is a stationery & home goods brand along with a calligraphy & engraving studio. What originally started out in my spare room in my old Hoboken apartment as a calligraphy business back in January 2020 has grown to a multi-faceted business that encompasses my love for stationery, home decor + textiles, calligraphy and much more. As a little girl I was always redecorating my room, crafting and considered more of the "creative" one from my siblings. I take it this interest hibernated in me for sometime until my adult years. Originally from CT, I graduated in 2013 and went to work in NYC. I spent 7 years working in Manhattan and in 2018, I got engaged and wanted to learn how to do calligraphy for my own wedding details. After taking my first calligraphy workshop in Soho, I spent any free time I had before and after work practicing my newest skill - I was hooked. For many years I desired working for myself in some capacity, and after meeting many other creative entrepreneurs in Hoboken, I ultimately made that day dream a reality. In January 2020, JJ Paperie & Co was born.
