Pasta Making Class with Mushroom Ragout

In this pasta-making class in the DC area, you will have hands-on guidance as you mis, knead, and boil your way through a delicious pasta recipe. In this class, you'll learn to prepare the perfect pasta dough and use a pasta machine or rolling pin to roll it out to the perfect thickness for cutting into long, delicate ribbons of Pappardelle. Then, you'll create a savory mushroom Ragout sauce to pair with your handmade pasta. At the end of the class, everyone will gather to enjoy the delicious dish they've crafted.No prior experience is necessary! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, and they can easily be found at local markets if you don’t have them in your kitchen already. Our classes are relaxed and designed to be fun and educational, not intense. Whether you're an experienced cook excited to dive into every detail or a first-timer who prefers to observe, assist, or taste along the way, this class has something for everyone!The nature of our classes is set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Groups of two may be asked to share their station with another couple.
