Reclaim Clay Collective (RECC) is the first POC, queer, women-owned art studio located in the thriving cultural heart of Seattle’s Chinatown International district. Founders Siera Matsuo and Luanne Wilson left their biology careers to pursue pottery, and made it their mission to nurture an intentional artistic community that helps make art accessible to underserved communities. We prioritize creating a safe space for our QT and BIPOC community and will not tolerate hate in our space.RECC offers short-term classes designed to help you explore a new creative hobby or long term interest. As art enthusiasts ourselves, we host classes on various mixed media interests to help further expand your art practice and intrigue. We offer group classes and workshops on the potter’s wheel, handbuilding, Risography printmaking, and more. In addition to classes and workshops, our studio offers membership access for those who want to continue their creative journey and expand their self-exploration. We welcome you to join our community!
