Searching for fun activities in New York City for adults? Whether you're planning a unique bachelorette party, a team-building event, or just a friendly group meet-up, this Risotto cooking class is the best way to spend quality time together.
This culinary class will begin by splitting your group into teams for the competition. Your group will then get to pick from a basket of curious ingredients to add to your risotto. We can't reveal what ingredients you might find, but some ideas are chestnuts, wasabi greens, carrot juice, fava beans, and more! Come and play in our kitchen nestled in the SoHo district of Manhattan, or we can join you in your home.
All the teams will have plenty of guidance and advice from your supportive, local chef as you perfect the techniques of a risotto. But you will get a chance to put your own spin on the versatile dish of risotto. It's a great way to learn how to cook and be creative in the kitchen whilst having fun with your pals.

Home Cooking New York was founded in May 2002 by founder Jennifer Clair. After years of writing cookbooks, recipes, and food editorials, the opportunity to come together with eager culinary students in a kitchen classroom seemed like the next logical step. Back then, Jennifer was the sole chef-instructor, teaching nightly private cooking classes in students’ home kitchens all over New York City. Over the last 17 years, the company has grown to include five outstanding chef-instructors!
We have our own cooking school in Manhatten, SoHo where we love to share our passion for good food with fellow home cooks! Or, our amazing chefs can come to your home to help you cook up a wonderful feast. You can also find our incredible classes in a virtual experience.
